FORMLABS - THE DIGITAL FACTORY CONFERENCE MANUFACTURING DEMO
I was part of a small team responsible for developing and delivering an impactful in-person experience for attendees of The Digital Factory Conference put on by Formlabs. I coordinated efforts between teams at Formlabs, Tulip, and The Public Radio to create an interactive manufacturing experience where attendees would configure and then assemble their own Public Radio as a take-away memento of the event.
I also designed the 3D printed knob assembly with Sofie Belanger. Sofie was responsible for the aesthetic and ergonomic aspect of the knob variants, I was responsible for the design for assembly aspects including dialing in the press fit tolerances of the insert.

I designed and validated these press-fit inserts to connect the radio d-shaft to the 3D printed color knobs.
